We beat Russell, which I saw as a kind of "screw you" to Ian Holbrook, wherever he may be. We don't need you so just leave us alone! It was nice I suppose, but the moment was spoiled by everyone rushing the field before the game was over. Ashland isn't exactly filled with Einstein's after all.

I ran into Austin at the mall and we hung out a bit. I hadn't seen him in quite some time. I also got the first three books of the Jedi Order series for twenty bucks. If that isn't a great deal I don't know what is. Then on Labor Day I went to the Huntington Mall and got V for Vendetta (the graphic novel) and watched The Illusionist. Great day all in all I must say.

Well the Special Placement situation has sort of been resolved. I'm spending part of second period in the office and the other part in Ms Modlin's. Why Mr. Ballash thought the office couldn't go on without my sitting at that table doing nothing is beyond me, but he isn't known for his intelligence. ("ennuendo", "newgets") I suppose it's like what Calvin once said: "Nothing is worse than a good compromise."

I'm getting kind of worried about my job again. I can't work Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday because of Curious Savage rehearsals (which are going great by the way), can't work Sunday or Wednesday because of church, and I'll be darned if I'm going to work Friday and Saturday every week for the rest of the year. I think I'm just going to rob a bank and forget the whole thing.
